Hello precious daughters of the most high God. So the Holy Spirit was reminding me about my plans to seek first His kingdom this year but my focus began to shift. It began to shift to focusing on other people, husband and other things that are less important.
Few days ago, I spoke about redirecting your focus and focusing on God.
Today, is about worrying. Many of us have heard that song, DON’T WORRY, BE HAPPY.
Imm encourage you to spend time on Matthew 6 especially the 33rd verse. . Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
That is seek God first and other things come next.
Don’t seek the things first. Today I was journaling about something and God dropped something in my spirit which was don’t waste your time. Especially on things that don’t make sense or don’t add to you whatsoever. This life is too short to be wasting time.
A lot of us spend time comparing ourselves with others and worrying about food clothes and all if that. There’s so much more to do and to think about in life than clothes shoes and bags.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, what ye shall drink nor yet for your body what ye shall out on.
Wow, take no thought for your life? Amazing!! That means that worrying is pointless.
Can we add a cubit to our stature by worrying? Not at all!
It even reduces our stature when we worry. Lol. Worrying drains us. But I speak over you woman of God, I pray that the oil of gladness replaces every depression in your life.
Keep seeking God’s kingdom first. Remember to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace ✌.
Fix your mind on the things which are above.
As you seek God’s kingdom first, I see everything being added to you in the precious name of Jesus.
May the good lord perfect all that concerns you.
Prayer : Lord, have mercy on me for seeking other things above your kingdom. Let Matthew 6:33 become a reality once more in my life. Let your glory be seen in me and let others be drawn to Christ because of me. Lord let me be an epitome of Matthew 6:33 and let me always be a carrier of your presence.
