He Came For All. Merry Christmas!

Hi every one. Merry Christmas to you all! I’m so sorry I’ve not posted in a while, forgive me, I’ll be more consistent by God’s grace!. I pray you all had a wonderful Christmas celebration and are set or getting set for a glorious 2017. Your 2017 will be more glorious than your 2016, in Jesus’ name.  This is a late Christmas post. I was in the process of writing something else but I believe God has something for you concerning Christmas.

There a number of Bible verses that talk about the birth of Jesus Christ, the saviour, for  example Isaiah 9 and 11,  Matthew 1 and 2, Luke 1 and 2 and other bible verses. However the focus today will be ‘Jesus came for all’ (Luke 2:10).

Jesus is for all, He is for everyone, though not everyone accepts and will accept Him, that does not change the fact that He is for all of us. The Bible says in John 3:16 that God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever that believeth in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Jesus came into the world for everyone. He was sent to die for our sins. So as believers we should never think we’re “Jesus’  favourites” Jesus loves everyone equally, saved or not. He is for everyone.

Matthew 2:10 says that “Then the angel said to them “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which will be to all people” (KJV), not some people but all people. Amplified version puts it like this:

I remember that one day, in a small gathering  of 3 adults, I was the youngest among 3 women, and one of them was a Muslim, leaving two of us Christians and one of them said that religion depends on where God wants you to be. I was shocked because I knew and I still know Jesus is for everyone, God wants everyone to accept Christ, if not He won’t have sent Jesus Christ in the first place.

In Isaiah 9:6 it says, For unto us a child is born and unto us a Son is given. God gave us His son, His only son, and because of that we shouldn’t withhold the love of God in us from people, let us give His love freely, praying that people will experience Christ, (Matthew 6:33).

In the remaining part of 2016, and even beyond, remember that Jesus Christ is for everyone, God loves everyone,  spread the love of God, advertise Christ. Remember that God has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Whatever you do, academic, business, creative, medical, whatever field, it must reconcile people to Christ.

Ask God for wisdom to show love to people, you must not be an evangelist, visiting a hurting friend, giving a homeless man lunch and saying “God bless you and Jesus loves you” is a way of loving, making your client know that she’s beautiful when making their hair or doing their make-up is a way of loving them. The point is that people feel the love of GOD when they come across you, love them despite who they are.

Also,  a word for you; the angel said: “I bring to you good tidings of great joy. The presence of Christ brings joy to our lives, not sorrow. So when ever depression tries to come, refuse it, tell the devil that  Jesus is good tidings and great joy, not sorrow. Don’t allow him to steal your joy.  JESUS came to give you abundant life. I challenge you to live life to the fullest in 2017.  I pray you become enveloped in the great joy of Christ!

Let’s pray:

Father, thank You for sending Jesus for me and also for the world. Thank you Lord for saving me, I am blessed to be called Yours. Lord, help me to remain joyful no matter what is going on in the world. Endue me with the spirit of LOVE so I can love others the way You would have me love them, let them see CHRIST in me, let me be a good ambassador and let me pull many to You. Even in this season of love, I ask for strength, grace and wisdom to lead someone to Christ. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

I want to leave this scripture with you.

Isaiah 9:2-7 (KJV):

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

God bless you, Merry Christmas and a glorious 2017. Keep loving, keep being Jesus to people around you. I love you!
