Maybe you know what God has called you to do, and if you don’t, I pray that God reveals your calling to you, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
So many people know why they are called but don’t go about their ministry committedly. God is not a blind promoter. Vashti was replaced by Esther because Vashti thought she could do whatever she wants. I pray that you will not get replaced! We need to be committed to what God has called us to do, especially when we don’t feel like doing it or we feel stressed. It is challenges that make champions.
In the previous verse, it is seen that the place Jesus went to, the people wanted Him to stay with Him but He did not allow Himself to be distracted and you shouldn’t too, stay focused like Jesus did! So many distractions will come your way, but your ministry should be a MUST, not a maybe, compromising your ministry is compromising your destiny and that is definitely not what you want. You need to start saying, “I must focus on the book I am writing”, “I must focus on that Bible study group I am leading”, it is not just in the talk but also what you do, after making up your mind, focus on what God has called you to do. Don’t allow the cares of this world to distract you.
Lastly, you should aim to expand your ministry as the Spirit leads you. Bishop Oyedepo usually says “Start local, then go global”. Jesus went to preach in other towns though He started in one town. You might look at that cooking business as small and local but have expansion in mind. God can enable you to have worldwide branches. There is nothing too hard for Him to do!
Prayer: Lord have mercy on me if I have taken my ministry for granted. Help me lord to stay focused, show me how to focus on the important things, also help me to take my ministry more seriously. Lord, open my eyes to see the big in the small, give me grace to start from where I am now. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
