He Called Us Holy- Sunday, 30th October, 2016.

october-30th

Today’s Bible verse is heart melting, God’s love is pure and unconditional. He loves us so much that even before the foundation of the world, before we were born, He selected each one of us even those that are yet to be born again to be holy, consecrated, set apart purpose driven and blameless for him and in His sight! Even while we were in sin, God had already prepared an amazing life spent with Him. He called us holy, that is His intention for us, to be faultless and stand without guilt.

There are a lot of people fighting one sin or the other, and even after asking God for forgiveness, they are held bound by guilt, but the verse says that God actually selected us to be Holy, Holiness is God’s plan for us and we are holy and keep walking in the newness of life because we can do all things by God’s spirit and through Christ that gives us strength. Hoe powerful. The verse also makes us know the beauty of Holiness and living life the way God predestined for us to live. When we do His will, and become dead to flesh and to sin, we live a life of purpose, our minds are clear because what sin does is to cloud our mind and our senses from hearing God as we should.

We should strive to live in Holiness and each time we fall we should repent. We should trust God and live by faith knowing that when God says something it is for our own good. We should always remember that living for God is far glorious than being what i call a fluctuating Christian. From the bottom of my heart, I pray that God gives you grace to walk perfectly and steadily before Him, I pray that even if you fall that you get back up and finish well. I pray none of you will miss it in life and purpose. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

Confession: Because God greatly loves me, He chose me to be holy, acceptable, consecrated, set apart, purpose driven and blameless before Him. I will keep the faith through Christ and the Spirit of God living in me. Amen!
