HOW INTIMATE ARE YOU WITH GOD?-Wednesday, 7th September, 2016.

Hosea 2:16

“In that day,” declares the LORD, “you will call me ‘my husband’; you will no longer call me ‘my master.’ NLT

So God spoke to me on being so intimate with Him, like how the unmarried and single women imagine they would be with their future spouses. God wants us as women to be very intimate with Him even deeper than the intimacy we want to have with our future husbands.

God knows everything any way, He is alpha and omega, I am currently going through a phase of learning to be intimate with God, and honestly, the name ‘God’ can make ‘Him’ seem authoritative and a dictatorial God who doesn’t understand our feelings. These days, I prefer to use father or even daddy, to build that intimacy with God amongst other ways. (you can contact me to find out)

My Father is showing me that He can be love like a father, care like a mother, listen like a friend, and show compassion like a husband.

God is awesome, now this does not mean that we should not have friends, or human relationships, but we have to come to that place where the first place we run to is God, God is our very present help in time of need, stop and think about that. We have to learn to trust Him. The Bible says in Isaiah 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you”

I love the part that says that though she may even forget, God won’t forget us! Daughter of God, you are precious to Him, He loves you so much. I pray that you begin to trust Him and build intimacy with this loving father.

Prayer: Father, (daddy, or any beautiful name you want to call him), thank you for your unfathomable love and care, I ask that you show me how to build intimacy with you and develop a closeness with You. God help me to let go of the things that hinder my intimacy with you. I choose to put You first today. Thank you Father.
